What's Your New Years Resolution?

I have been sat in bed for a while wondering what to write about and fancied a change from the usual make-up review posts. I'm sure this is quite a common topic however I want to know your New Years resolutions. Every single year I manage to come up with endless resolutions, do I stick to any of them? No.

I want this year to be different! I have quite a few in mind that I could really do with sticking to this year! Here are some that I am going to try and stick to:

1. No Takeaways/Fast Food - I am sure that this is going to be quite a popular one, this is one that I really need to stick too. Not only for the sake of the contents of my purse, but also for my health. I am one of those people (some may say i'm lucky) that can eat as much junk as I can possibly shovel down and not put on any weight however its come to a time where I have began to think that maybe I am doing more damage to myself than I can see. Time to eat clean! (or cleaner)

2. Saving Money? What even is saving? This is something that I haven't quite grasped the idea of. It sounds nice, I'm sure it looks nice too, the idea of checking my bank account and seeing how much I have saved sounds so rewarding. However this is definitely something that is easier said than done and i'm sure many of you can agree. This year is going to be my year to hopefully try and save some money!

3. Actually go to the gym that I pay for - This is another one of those things that is easier said than done. As half 5 draws closer and I'm sat at my desk counting down the minutes until I can leave, the last thing that crosses my mind is the gym. I'd love to join Yoga classes and Zumba but i'm just too damn lazy. I have even downloaded a great app called '30 Day Fitness' with tons of different work out exercises I can do at home or in the gym and would definitely recommend for those of you like me who are struggling/trying to get fit! Its time for a change!

So,

What are your New Years Resolutions? I'd love to hear them!

Kerastase Bain Force Architecte & Ciment Anti-Usure

Sorry I've been quiet for a while .. settling back into work after a nice long Christmas break is never fun, especially when you have to go home sick on the first week back! However now I've finally eased back in and can get back to Blogging again! Thought I should start off my second post of 2015 with a product review on this amazing shampoo and treatment that Keratase have very cleverly formulated. I'm sure many of you have the same problem as me; damaged, lifeless hair. My poor hair has endured endless dying, straightening and curling. I do sometimes think to myself I'd love to shave it all off and start again, a nice fresh head of hair that has never been dyed, cut or straightened however I don't quite think that I have the guts to do that so I'll have to make do and try and improve the current sorry state of my hair.

I have always been a fan of the Keratase range and thought i'd give the Bain Force Architecte shampoo a go and see how it worked, I chose this one in particular as it caters for high 'erosion level' hair and i'm pretty sure that my hair fits into this category! I have used this shampoo now consistently for 2 weeks and can already see and feel a massive difference. My hair feels thicker and stronger and my split ends aren't as prominent as they were before. I have tried to hold off on straightening as much too to give my hair a break and see just how well this shampoo worked.

I thought I might as well go all out and try the Ciment Anti-Usure treatment too, this again is specially formulated for heat destroyed hair like mine. I usually apply this after shampooing and leave on for a good 5 minutes or so, this is to ensure that it has a chance to work itself into the hair for the best intense repairing experience! Again, I was not disappointed. After using this product my hair looked and felt totally revitalised. I would definitely recommend both of these products to anyone like myself who is struggling to repair their tired and broken hair and give it a new lease of life!

Christmas

Evening All,

I will apologise for my lack of blogging in the last two weeks, have a had a very busy Christmas and New Year seeing family and friends. I thought this post would be a good opportunity to share with you all some of the lovely gifts I received! I won't show you all of them however here are a few of my favourites. I am one of those people who absolutely loves Christmas, and yes at the age of 21 I still receive a stocking every Christmas morning, unfortunately I forgot to take a picture before I tore through it on Christmas day however it was filled with lots of little bits such as nail varnishes, hand cream, exfoliator, Terrys Chocolate Orange, all the usual stocking gifts.

I received a gorgeous Lipsy Michelle Keegan furry coat from my boyfriend Matt and was very impressed with his choice (with no help!) I will upload a picture of this shortly. My main present from my parents which I received slightly early this year was a new bed! Its so nice being able to starfish in a double bed without feeling restricted like you do in a single bed.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and new year! I will be posting some new beauty product inspo soon, its safe to say I have certainly utilised the online sales after Christmas and am expecting some deliveries this week that I will share with you shortly. I'm hoping that 2015 will be a good blogging year for me, I am still very new to this!
